Sponsorship for a better life
Child sponsorship is a form of solidarity that can transform lives. By supporting a child, you enable her to have enough to eat, and access to education, as well as medical and psychological care. Thanks to you, she'll be able to forge a better future full of hope.
By offering your help, you're showing this little girl that someone on the other side of the world is reaching out to her, helping her on her way to a new life. As a godparent, you play an active role in this process of resilience, providing long-distance support.

1) Rescue : The on-site team is contacted by the family, the police, or the hospital that a new victim needs help. In coordination with child protection services and community leaders, they then retrieve the child and obtain legal custody in order to welcome them to the center.
2) Tom Dy Center : The victim is welcomed to our center in Phnom Penh, where a specialized team provides support and guidance. They stay there from a few months to several years, depending on their needs. The center offers schooling, English and computer classes, as well as a safe environment where they are fed, housed, clothed, and cared for.
3) Community Based Education : The child returns to live with their family, who regain legal custody. We finance her education, care, and some of their needs, while ensuring regular follow-up and home visits.
4) University studies : if the girl chooses to go to university, she then returns to the center in Phnom Penh for the duration of her studies and benefits from accommodation, food and a scholarship.
5) Economy Empowerment Program : if the young woman opts for an apprenticeship or a job, she becomes financially independent, while remaining in contact with the team until she is fully autonomous.
6) Survivor Empowerment Network : once independent for several years, the young woman is then considered rehabilitated. She then joins a mutual aid network active throughout Cambodia, supporting new victims.
